saving files at OpenOffice

Have you ever used OpenOffice to save a file and you want to opened that file with Microsoft Words but what happen is that file cannot open..

what you must notice while saving a file using OpenOffice Writer is make sure your file had a .doc extention.

There are two ways you can do :

1. click file --- save as --- tipe your filename ended with .doc example : fileQ.doc --- click save --- done

2. click file --- save as --- tipe your filename --- save as type, choose microsoft word 97/2000/XP(.doc) --- make sure checkmark automatic file name extension -- click save --- done

with this way, you can open your files (created on OO.o Writer) in Microsoft Words.

The same thing will do for OO.o Calc and OO.o Impres,

OO.o Calc -- choose .xls extention

OO.o Impres -- choose .ppt extention
